Rachael Rose, Owner

Rachael Rose is the owner and founder of Creative Speech Therapy NYC, which was established in 2015. She is nationally certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association and state licensed in New York. She also holds the certificate of Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (T.S.S.L.D). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Science from the University of Maryland and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University. Rachael has worked for over 16 years in public schools, Early Intervention, Child Find, sensory gyms and the private sector. She has earned 3 awards for post-graduate education work in the areas of pediatric feeding, speech/language, and social skills. She has also completed high level trainings including PROMPT, SOS, and Talk Tools level 2, and TOTs. Rachael has spoken publicly about pediatric feeding, oral placement therapy, social skills, and picky eating. She is a creative therapist who focuses on tailoring individualized therapeutic programs for each child based on her knowledge of traditional and innovative techniques. She strongly encourages collaboration with parents, teachers, and other therapists.

Siena Cardamone, Senior Therapist

Siena Cardamone is a skilled and passionate speech-language pathologist providing speech, language and feeding services to children in Manhattan, New York.  Siena is certified through the American Speech and Hearing Association and state licensed in New York. She also holds the certificate of Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (T.S.S.L.D).

Siena received her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master’s degree from Adelphi University in Speech-Language Pathology.  For over seven years Siena has specialized in working with children birth to three years and their families in Early Intervention, early childhood school systems and private therapy.  Siena creates treatment plans that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. Emphasis is placed on teaching techniques to the caregiver to promote carryover and ensure each child reaches his or her speech, language and/or feeding goals.  Siena maintains the highest level of professionalism, respect, and passion in her daily work.

Areas of specialty include assessment and treatment in the following areas: speech/language disorder, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorder (SPD), down syndrome, feeding delays/disorders, oral placement therapy, apraxia and picky/problem eaters.
